In an effort to push positivity and cut down on hateful conversations on its platform. Twitter is testing a number of new features and is already working on a new design for replies within the app, introducing a threaded UI. The company first showed off the feature a few weeks ago, and has refined the design to welcome more conversations. Sara Haider, director of product management at Twitter, and Mike Kruzeniski, senior director of product design, discussed the new features this week at an event hosted by Fast Company in New York City. “We want the best conversation for you coming to you as quickly as possible,” Kruzeniski said at the event. “Can you tell us what you’re interested in? And [can] we quickly get you to that conversation?” More importantly, Twitter is working on a new “status” feature. This Android Malware Can Steal Money From Your Bank And Block Calls To Your Bank Customer Service

There’s a criminal software out there that was first discovered in 2013 and has since been upgraded to include something really scary. Called Android Fakebank , once it gets into your device, it will trick you into replacing your bank app and once it successfully does that, the attacker will basically have access to your funds. But now Symantec tell us that the malware now has the ability to stop outgoing calls to your bank customer service. As you no longer are able to reach your bank customer support service even if you are suspicious, it will give the bad guy more time to do whatever they will before your bank finally realises. Here’s a bit of what the guys at Symantec said about it; Once installed, the new Android.Fakebank.B variants register a BroadcastReceiver component that gets triggered every time the user tries to make an outgoing call. The last Siri Co-founder Has Retired From Apple

Tom Gruber, who served as head of Siri"s Advanced Development group and was one of Siri"s original co-founders, has left Apple. According to a reports by The Information —His departure from the company was confirmed by an Apple spokesperson, who told The Information that he was retiring to pursue personal interests in photography and ocean conservation. Gruber, along with Dag Kittlaus and Adam Cheyer, co-founded Siri Inc, the company that created the original Siri app, which Apple purchased in 2010 for $200 million. Siri was introduced in the iPhone 4S the following year, with its then-unique combination of speech recognition and “assistant” features. The incredibility of Siri lasted just a few years, but Siri has since then lost its ground to rivals like Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant, till now is yet to be found.                                         ...
