After months of testing, Instagram has introduced an emoji shortcut bar on Android and iOS that offers quick access to your most-used icons when wading into a post"s comments. You won"t have to sift through your phone keyboard emoji selection when you want to send someone a heart touching emoji or tell them their new look is fire. The new shortcut bar is available in a post"s comments section. While typing a comment, you will be shown the set of your most-used emoji. Twitter Has Got Its User Numbers Are Growing Again

Indeed, it has been an incredible year for this social media platform and we can only say Twitter is having a surprisingly good 2018 in all areas especially from a business perspective. Not only has the company made a profit for the second time in its history, but its users-base is also growing massively. Twitter also revealed while reporting its Q1 2018 earnings that it expects to be profitable throughout the rest of the year, which would be a significant turnaround after four years of losses as a public company. Twitter posted its first ever quarterly profit this last quarter and now its active users’ number has added 6 million new monthly users during their first quarter. Twitter Tests New Profile Features, Including Presence Indicators And ‘Ice Breakers’

In an effort to push positivity and cut down on hateful conversations on its platform. Twitter is testing a number of new features and is already working on a new design for replies within the app, introducing a threaded UI. The company first showed off the feature a few weeks ago, and has refined the design to welcome more conversations. Sara Haider, director of product management at Twitter, and Mike Kruzeniski, senior director of product design, discussed the new features this week at an event hosted by Fast Company in New York City. “We want the best conversation for you coming to you as quickly as possible,” Kruzeniski said at the event. “Can you tell us what you’re interested in? And [can] we quickly get you to that conversation?” More importantly, Twitter is working on a new “status” feature.
