Human-free driving in the Golden State, California . Last month, following the fatal accident that caused the death of a woman in Arizona which involved Uber’s self-driving vehicle . The incident sent shockwaves through the tech and auto industries, raising questions about the safety surrounding this technology and the permissiveness of states like Arizona to welcome the testing. Unlike Arizona, though, California has been permitting and putting policies in place for self-driving cars to thrive. A couple of weeks ago, California was accepting applications for permits that would allow testing of fully driverless vehicles on public roads. At the time, the Department of Motor Vehicles wouldn"t reveal which companies had applied for the permits. Shooter Confirmed Dead After Shootout At YouTube Headquarters

The woman responsible for the shooting that happened at YouTube headquarters in San Bruno yesterday was confirmed dead. Before her death, she shot three persons who sustained injuries before she eventually took her own life, according to the authorities. "We did locate a victim with what we believe to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. It"s a female, but the investigation is still ongoing before we can out the pieces together", the San Bruno Police Chief, Ed Barberini said. The authorities in charge of the investigations are yet to come with shreds of evidence to prove that the shooter specifically targeted the victims or whether it was merely coincidental. One of the victims was identified as the shooter"s estranged boyfriend. Before the disaster, the police officers found a woman identifies as Nasim Aghdam asleep in a car in Mountain view.
