Google has updated the desktop version of its popular Chrome browser with a feature that may make the software even more attractive to users out there. Chrome as you already know, is the world’s most used browser, and a picture-in-picture feature may just have affirmed that even further. According to Android Police , the Picture-in-picture mode is finally coming to Google Chrome 70 on Mac, Linux, and Windows. Although this function could have been activated manually in Chrome 69 Beta , in the new version of the renowned Google Internet browser, the feature is on by default. Google Is Rolling Out A New Chrome Design ‘Across All Operating Systems’ Next Month

Earlier this week, during its latest enterprise release notes the tech giants Google announced an upcoming launch of its dominating browser, Chrome—It will debut with a new Material Design concept, and the new design will be across all operating systems. Chrome version 69, desktop interface will include more rounded and a whiter appearance. Moreover, the mobile version for iOS will sport a major revamp. Google is relocating the browser’s navigation controls to the bottom. This makes it easier for one-handed use or for devices with really large displays. Chrome Will Remove Secure Label On HTTPS Sites From September

The Chrome browser"s upcoming versions will focus on highlighting its negative security indicators, even going as far as sunsetting its positive ones. Chrome Security Product Manager Emily Schechter has announced in a blog post that Chrome 69, which will be available in September, will stop marking HTTPS sites as "Secure" on the address bar. Why? Well, because Google wants the default state to be secure. Emily Schechter, explained that the company is now comfortable making this move as a large chunk of Chrome"s traffic is now via HTTPS. Since most traffic is HTTPS anyway, it"s not necessary to draw the user"s attention to the "Secure" indicator anymore. Instead, Chrome will focus on highlighting situations when the user is accessing an insecure HTTP website.
