Microsoft Improves Office 365 Device Limits For Subscribers

Microsoft’s Office 365 service has been a great deal for a long time, and it’s eventually getting better— Soon, Office 365 Home will let six users install an unlimited number of Office applications. In an announcement , recently made by Microsoft, currently the improvement for Office 365 users in which the Office 365 Home allows up to five users but now, what’s new is that Microsoft is raising this limit to six, so each Office 365 Home account gets an additional user. Office 365 is essentially a Microsoft Office subscription. While the family plan, named Office 365 Home, costs $100 per year. For that price, five (soon six) people can install the latest versions of Microsoft Office on their PCs, Macs, tablets, and phones. Each person gets 1TB of OneDrive storage too. YouTube TV Offers Subscribers A Free Week After World Cup Outage

When you’re watching a crucial sports live online or on TV, the last thing you want is for the screen to go blank for no reason—But that’s precisely what happened, as the screen went blank for users using YouTube TV to watch the live stream of the semi-final match between England and Croatia. Keen to make up for the outage, YouTube has decided to offer subscribers at least a week’s worth of free service. It also said that at least some of those who complained directly to customer service were told they would receive a month’s worth of credit. The One week of free YouTube TV amounts to $10, under the current $40-per-month pricing for new customers. Customers who signed up before March 13, 2018, on the original $35 monthly plan are grandfathered in on that price. YouTube Is Offering A Talent Option To Sell Subscriptions

After dealing with demonetisation problems for close to two years. YouTube creators will finally get paid for their content. At its annual VidCon gathering in Anaheim, California, the site announced an alternative payment method for channel memberships and a merchandising feature. Channel Memberships is a rebrand of Subscriptions, a feature that had been tested by select creators for a while. Channels with over 100,000 subscribers will get access to Memberships for $4.99 per month. Creators will have a unique badges for their profiles, custom emoji, members-only posts, exclusive livestreams and videos, and other perks. While channels with fewer than 100,000 subscribers will be disappointed to miss this opportunity, YouTube says it hopes to make more Memberships available to more people in the coming months. Facebook Groups May Soon Charge Monthly Subscription Fees For Access

Soon, to access certain videos or content on Facebook then be ready to throw in a little cold, hard cash into the mix as well. The social network has announced in a press release a pilot program for Facebook Groups that lets administrators create a paid group for their communities. Members can pay a monthly subscription to certain groups for access to exclusive content, including videos, tutorials and advice. The fees will range from $4.99 to $29.99 per month. So yes you may end up needing to pay almost $360 for an annual Facebook group subscription. However, in the biggest social media platform has always made their groups free. But now as a way to reward group admins who has put in much effort in making the group functional and active.  The company also says admins could take the money they earn to create higher-quality content for the group as well, whether that be more posts, videos, or offline meetups and events. ESPN+ Subscription Service Will Broadcast League of Legends Competitions Starting This Summer

Game lovers are in for a treat. ESPN and Riot games has signed a  multi-year agreement to stream esports competitions on the ESPN+ app. ESPN+ will kick off its coverage in June 16 — just in time for the North American League of Legends Championship Series Summer Split. Ten teams will go against each other twice each season, with 18 matches for each, and one match per day. The matches will stream live on ESPN+ on Saturday and Sunday. Following this, the summer finals will be held in Sept. 8-9 at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif. Three teams will qualify for the League of Legends World Championship in South Korea. That competition will put 24 teams from 14 regional leagues up against each other later in the fall. However, ESPN+ won’t have exclusive rights to the “League of Legends” programming, which will continue to be distributed on Amazon-owned Twitch and other platforms. Jalon Lanier, Tech Evangelist Says Users Should Pay For Google And Facebook Services

In the wake of the privacy scandal with Facebook Inc. that also implicates Alphabet"s, Jalon Lanier, an influential tech evangelist during the TED 2018 conference in Vancouver suggested that Facebook and Google should review their business model with inclusion of ad-free options. Often referred to as the father of virtual reality, Lanier told the Vancouver event that users who do not want their private information toyed with should have the liberty to pay for the services via a monthly subscription fee or whatever option that best suits the internet companies. This model should be considered as an alternative to overly relying on ad placements.
