HTC Officially Announces A New Blockchain-Powered Phone

Smartphone manufacturer HTC is taking a major leap into the cryptocurrency ecosystem and wider blockchain industry. The Taiwanese firm announced at the Consensus 2018 Blockchain Conference in New York of its plan to unveil “ HTC Exodus ,” which it describes as the “world’s first blockchain-powered Android phone, which was first reported by TheNextWeb . The Android-powered phone will be tailor-made to provide support for decentralized applications (DApps) like Crypto Kitties, and it will feature a secure hardware enclave to provide users with access to a universal cryptocurrency wallet that is native to the device. The World"s Biggest Porn Site Now Accepts Cryptocurrency

Porn hub accepts Verge. A year ago, Pornhub one the biggest porn sites, they implemented an HTTPS encryption, which makes it safer for users to click without being snooped on. Last fall, it introduced a suite of accessibility features for its blind and visually impaired users. And now, it began accepting Verge, a privacy-focused cryptocurrency. Adult entertainment streaming site Pornhub has announced its partnership with cryptocurrency Verge (XVG) and will now accept the coin as payment for Pornhub Premium and all Pornhub purchases, according to a press release published. Twitter Is Reportedly Planning To Ban Cryptocurrency Ads

Following Facebook and Google’s footsteps, according Sky News . Twitter is  planning to ban advertisements for cryptocurrencies and initial coin offerings (ICOs). Earlier this year in January, in an effort to combat deceptive marketers,  Facebook prohibited ads for currencies such as Bitcoin and other crypto currency while last week Google followed and announced its intention to ban all cryptocurrency ads on their site. Sky News reportedly (via Engadget ) , that the new Twitter advertising banning policies for ICOs to token sales and cryptocurrency wallets will commence worldwide. The report also added that the site might also ban ads for cryptocurrency exchanges, but with some possible exceptions. The ban could begin in as soon as two weeks. Earlier this year, Facebook banned all cryptocurrency adverts with an excuse that a majority of them were not acting in good faith. Similarly, Google has taken a move to crackdown on all crypto-related advert on their platform. The company announced it in a post that the decision will take effect in June 2018: " We don"t have a crystal ball to know where the future is going with cryptocurrencies, but we"ve seen enough consumer harm or potential for consumer harm that it"s an area that we want to approach with extreme caution ."
