Some Samsung S9 Users Are Complaining About Their Screens; Samsung Says It’s Investigating.
Samsung apparently wants to answer to everybody"s dream gadget. Over time, it has reversed its designs and features to suit the trend and keep the customers happy. However, things have gone sour after the launch of the Samsung S9 as customers are complaining about their screens.
It"s just a few weeks after the launch, but that"s not what is more overwhelming. The mobile phone retail price in New Zealand is over $1100! The spec had undergone a camera tweak and a stylish super-slow-motion video. These features could set the bar for the Samsung S9 to set the bar for other Android phones for 2018. Nevertheless, it"s not as fantastic after all.
The Daily Mail reports that official forums are flooded with complaints about "dead spots" on the screen. Some of the complaints read:
"Does anyone else have issues with the Galaxy S9 touchscreen? I"ve got a few dead spots on the bottom half of my screen."
"Getting a replacement phone shipped but do wonder if it is bad luck or a more common issue with the phone."
"My S9 has dead spots as well, right out of the box."
Samsung says it"s investigating the problems, although some customers say their screens became functional after resetting them. "At Samsung, customer satisfaction is core to our business, and we aim to deliver the best possible experience. We"re looking into a limited number of reports of Galaxy S9/S9 + touchscreen responsive issues. We are working with the affected customers and investigating."
However, there"s no fix yet. For some people, they restart their phones, and they begin to function correctly, but we doubt that this is a long-term solution for the device. The best bet would be to recall all affected phones to issue a replacement.
Technology is prone to loopholes. The Samsung S9 is likely just unfortunate to be in the news for the wrong reason.
