Once you are done with your marketing and have sent potential customers your website’s way, then is the time to know which parts of the site are producing dividends? A user could leave your site halfway through scrolling through your main page owing to a minute issue that could have easily been tweaked. It is in this context that heatmaps play such a crucial and critical part. Heatmaps are a fabulous way to collect deep insight on how visitors interact with each page on your site. With the help of the right tools, you can figure out which elements need to be tuned, moved to some other areas of your webpage or removed altogether. A detailed Look At The Way You Can Combat The Rise Of The Bots In The Digital World

Image
2015 was a year of jubilation among website owners and digital marketers since the bot traffic dropped below 50%. However, this joy was short lived since the next year brought a surge of bot activity that reached over 51.8%. This takes us closer to the Dark Ages, before the introduction of Humming Bird and before people had figured out the benevolence of the White Hat SEO. In 2016 and 2017 bad bot traffic has been a serious issue. For websites with fewer than ten human visitors per day, bot traffic comprised 93.3% of total traffic, and bad bots make up for 47.7% of the total bot traffic.  In a recent survey, a leading website security company analyzed the traffic and performance of 100,000 randomly chosen websites in 2017. Out of them, almost 94.2% of them have experienced bot attacks in the observed time. This gives us an alarmingly accurate view of the highly insecure web environment most websites are in right now. The attackers have indiscriminately attacked sites without taking in

Fresh Text Message Marketing Ideas for Restaurants

Image
Studies reveal that restaurant and bar owners have been reluctant to embrace short message service, or SMS, marketing techniques despite data revealing that 81 percent of consumers use their mobile devices to search for places to meet friends for a drink or enjoy a meal. Many Americans find it difficult to put their phones away even for a few minutes, but many restaurant owners take exception to this kind of behavior in their establishments rather than seeing it for the tremendous opportunity that it is. Text messaging offers you a low-cost and highly effective way to communicate with your customers and promote special offers or discounts, and restaurants and bars are among the types of businesses that can benefit from this kind of marketing the most. You could use text messages to promote special offers and make announcements designed to attract customers during times when business is traditionally slow, reach certain demographic groups such as women or college students or encourage y

Out of office shows up as a new event type when creating an event in your calendar on desktop. Event invitations for the selected range will automatically be declined, and you have the option to add a custom refusal message ("I"m on vacation," or whatever). The "Out of Office" event type. Microsoft Edge For iOS And Android Now Comes With A Built-in Ad Blocker

Image
Following the lead of both Opera and Google, Microsoft has announced it is testing a built-in Adblock Plus integration in its mobile Edge browser available for both iOS and Android devices. Microsoft has already began rolling out the feature to those running the beta version of Edge for Android. Those using the stable version of the browser will receive the feature in a future update. Edge isn"t the first mobile browser to feature ad-blocking. Firefox for Android blocks ads in private browsing mode, and the privacy-first Firefox Focus stops them appearing by default.
