Samsung Announces Galaxy Note 9 With Bigger Screen, Huge Battery, And More Powerful S Pen
While it might seem like the Galaxy S9 only just hit shelves, the next big thing from Samsung is upon us: Samsung has launched its Galaxy Note 9 at its Unpacked event in Brooklyn—Rumors have been flowing for weeks about the new phablet phone—and it’s already shaping up to be one of the best phones of 2018.
The new release follows a quarter of disappointing sales of Samsung’s Galaxy S9. Samsung is facing increased pressure from Chinese smartphone makers overseas and a continued battle with Apple for market share in the United States.
The Note line, which set the trend for large-screen phones and includes a stylus, has traditionally been one of Samsung’s most distinctive and has acted as a testing ground for new features. And despite a disastrous spate of battery fires that prompted the recall of the Note 7, the Note line has proved to be the Samsung product with the most loyal following.
In recent event that was largely leaked ahead of time, Samsung unveiled its latest flagship device, which represents the high in high/low strategy that aims to create premium devices while fending off low-priced Android competitors. Note 9 have all you want in a smartphone and more. Below are the specs:
