There are some important details to be aware of, though. First, you will only be able to see if someone’s online if they have added you back or if you have already had a conversation via direct message. The last Siri Co-founder Has Retired From Apple

Tom Gruber, who served as head of Siri"s Advanced Development group and was one of Siri"s original co-founders, has left Apple. According to a reports by The Information —His departure from the company was confirmed by an Apple spokesperson, who told The Information that he was retiring to pursue personal interests in photography and ocean conservation. Gruber, along with Dag Kittlaus and Adam Cheyer, co-founded Siri Inc, the company that created the original Siri app, which Apple purchased in 2010 for $200 million. Siri was introduced in the iPhone 4S the following year, with its then-unique combination of speech recognition and “assistant” features. Instagram Will Upgrade Two-Factor Authentication To Guard Against SIM Hacking

The traditional 2-factor authentication method relies on an SMS to a phone number isn’t safe from hacking. According to recent reports, by Motherboard , hackers can steal your Instagram account by porting your phone number onto a different SIM card and simply requesting to change your password; all this, without you ever knowing. To thwart SIM hackers, Instagram is building a non-SMS 2-factor authentication system that will work with security apps like Google Authenticator and more, in order to prevent from SIM-based theft or hacking. The prototype version of the updated two-factor feature has been found in Android version of Instagram’s APK code, which was discovered by tipster Jane Manchun Wong. For some time now Instagram users with private accounts have been able to remove any undesirable followers. But now the company is testing a new feature that will give public account holders more control over followers.
